The Board of Directors provides governance, oversight, and strategic guidance to support Champions Benchmark™’s mission and long-term sustainability. Board members bring diverse professional experience and community insight, and work collaboratively to ensure strong accountability, ethical operations, and responsible stewardship of resources.
D. Champion – Social Media Manager & Insurance Consultant
Manages digital engagement and outreach, ensuring Champions Benchmark stays connected with the community.
J. Champion – Treasurer
Oversees finances and budget planning, ensuring transparency and strong stewardship of funds.
M. Champion – IT & Security Manager
Leads technology strategy, including software systems for reporting, data security, and case management.
STAFF:

DL. Champion – Family & Individual Counselor
Facilitates counseling and family-strengthening workshops, supporting mental health, emotional well-being, and conflict resolution.
A. Sheppard – Doula & Social Media Support
Certified Doula serving pregnant and parenting clients through education, mentoring, and advocacy. Provides prenatal and postpartum support and also assists with Champions Benchmark’s social media outreach.
N. Torrence – Community Engagement Specialist
Leverages her skills as a DJ and community connector to host events and increase program visibility.
